I’d like to discuss some of the things people should do after getting a WordPress site up and running. I’ve given this talk at WordCamp Birmingham earlier this year, but I’m changing it up a bit. Basic topics I’d like to discuss
1. WordPress, it’s not just for blogs anymore.. I’d like to show case small businesses that don’t necessarily “blog” and how they’re using WordPress as a CMS.
2. Things you need to do with WordPress as a business, things like Google Analytics, Goal tracking, using KissMetrics and seeing funnels in action.
3. Using Kissinsights to get a non-intrusive way of finding out what your visitors are there for.
