Bring your laptops! This will be a hands-on Conference session where we will walk through setting up a full WordPress development environment right on your machine. We will install the free MAMP or XAMPP software so you have your own web server running, set up Apache Virtual Hosts, configure your hosts file so you can run local URLs, and install WordPress right on your local machine so you can develop your WordPress site even when you are not online.
